Six weeks update

This week's major developments: The nose, mouth, and ears that we will spend so much time kissing in eight months are beginning to take shape. His/her emerging ears are marked by small depressions on the sides of the head, and his/her arms and legs by protruding buds. His/her heart is beating about 100 to 160 times a minute — almost twice as fast as mine — and blood is beginning to course through his/her body. His intestines are developing, and the bud of tissue that will give rise to his/her lungs has appeared. His pituitary gland is forming, as are the rest of his/her brain, muscles, and bones. Right now, Baby T is a quarter of an inch long, about the size of a lentil bean.

update

Can you believe he/she already has a heartbeat! That is amazing to me. What an amazing God we have that make a heart beat within a child that is less than 1/8th of an inch big!

Also what an amazing and humorous God we have that even though it is only 1/8th of an inch big it is already causing so many changes. I don't think it's that funny God.

Everything going good. Just some nausea and TIREDNESS! Some of the tiredness is still from The 3 Day though.

All grandparents have already bought stuff for the baby. We think that's cute. Now it's time for me to buy something. BABY SHOPPING TIME! :)

Summer

Well the summer is already passing by so fast. We had VBS at church this week every night. It's been fun but exhausting. Last night Zach had broomball planned with the youth so we didn't get home until midnight. It was fun, even though I stayed out of the way. I did get some hits in! :)

This week we have been working in the yard. We are cleaning out the gutters and working in the flower beds. I will post pictures as soon as it is all done. The gutters were pretty full of junk and not flowing properly which caused all the water to drain into the flowerbeds at a hard rate. So hopefully this will help. I guess we will find out when it rains this weekend if it works or not.

Zach bought some shelving supplies at Lowe's last night. After we finish the yard work we are going to clean out the garage and organize it. Maybe now my car will fit in finally.

Then garage sale time! I love and hate garage sales!! But we need every bit of money possible so time to clean out the closets.

Will post some new pictures soon.

DURING Fence Pictures

No more nasty fence. These are the metal poles (we did have wood which were rotted) we put in.
Zach working hard to get old post out. This was alot harder work then I thought.

BEFORE fence pictures

Side fence area with wood pieces trying to hold it together. The gate to the dog run will not even close anymore.

Closer view.
Close up to show how rotted everything was.

Yea for support beams holding our fence up. The neighbors also had one on the other side.
You can see where the creek just washes away the dirt. The post and fence are helping keep some dirt in. So we are leaving the old fence and putting the new fence in front of it. The water came all the way up to the retaining wall this week.
When we started to take down the old fence everything just fell down (dirt). This is why we can't put the fence back in the same place our old fence was.
I think bugs were holding most of our fence together.

random stuff

Well it looks like we are putting up our new fence this weekend. Luckily our neighbors have agreed to pay for half of what their side will cost.

We have had so much rain recently. The creek behind our fence in the backyard was all the way up to the retaining wall. We even had fish in our backyard!!! CRAZY!

We have had 3 tornado sirens weather in the last 2 weeks. It seems like Arlington always gets the bad weather. Nothing too bad at our house but the youth house at the church has a tree limb on the roof.

YEA I am off today! Arlington gets Cinco de Mayo off from school. Isn't that cool!
