Doctor Appointment

Well Hayden had his 6th month doctor check up and shots. Good news is that there are no more shots until he is a year old (actually he has one booster flu shot in a month). He goes back at 9 months just for a check up.

He now weighs a whopping 20 lbs and 5 1/2 ounces. Chunk of a kid. He is finally in the growth chart at 90%. All the other times he has been over it! He is 27 3/4 inches long and 18 inches head circumference. Just a healthy growing boy!

He did great with all of his shots. Such a good boy.

Other news, we are so close to rolling over. He can go from back to side but not all the way over yet. He is now sitting up by himself. Well pretty close to doing it by himself.

Hayden has found the mirror on his changing table and now grabs at it and tries to kiss himself. He just knows how darn cute he is!

Bottle holder

Hayden has started to reach up and hold his own bottles so we bought some handles. He can't do it totally by himself but he is pretty good at holding on!

I love cereal! I started eating cereal every night starting 11-5-08! It's amazing!

Hayden is 5 months!

Our little man is 5 months old and some change. He is growing more every day. He is so observant of his surroundings. He laughs and jabbers all the time. Here is his 5 month bear pic and we also found the long lost 3 month bear pic.

I know it's a little early for Christmas. I strongly believe that no Christmas talk should happen until after the turkey bird has been eaten and we sleep through half of the Cowboy game, but this is pretty funny!

Updates

Well last night was Hayden's first night in his own bed in his room. Mom only got up four or five times to check on him. He went to bed around nine and didn't wake up until 5. We were very happy. He also put himself back to sleep when he was wide awake talking to himself in bed. Tonight he ate his cereal and then went to bed around 8:30. He also was awake when he was put in his bed and then went back to sleep by himself. We are so HAPPY! Cereal has also been a first. He started eating cereal last week. At first he wasn't so sure about it but now he loves it. Pictures will be posted soon of our big boy!

Mrs. Misty's House
