On Saturday, Me, Benita, Hayden, Becky, Coralyn, Amelia, Trae, Bethany, Bekah, Avery, and Penny (my mom) went to the Mayborn Museum at Baylor. This is a hands-on museum and play place for kids. The kids had a blast and so did the adults!

We need a nap and some Tums!
This weekend we were in Waco . We ate out too much and had a lot of fun with family. Now it's Monday and we all need naps and we are in food overload. We had Panera, Rudy's Barbecue, Fuddruckers, Summer Palace Chinese Buffet, and Cheddar's. OMGosh it was amazing!

Bekah driving the school bus. I think that kid behind her is Trae. They always put the ones that misbehave right behind the driver.

9 months old
Well our little boy is 9 months old already. Time really flies by. He had his 9 month old checkup today. He did great. He weighs 24 pounds and 8 ounces. He is 30 1/2 inches long already!! Growing so much! He does have an ear infection and a stye in his eye. So Dr. Delisi gave him an antibiotic that will work on both. We will get some new pictures up soon.
We have done the cry out method on Hayden. He has done so well. The first night was SO HARD! He cried for 30 minutes. After that he has only cried 10 or less minutes before putting himself to sleep. It's been really nice since he has really been fighting sleep lately!!
From Hayden:
We have had a crazy Spring Break!! Aunt Bethany, cousin Avery and cousin Bekah all came to visit earlier in the week. So did Gramps and Gigi. Then on Tuesday we went to Tyler to visit Grandpa David, Gammy, Granny and Grandpa. It was a whirlwind trip. Now Nana and Aunt Brenna are here visiting for a couple of days. I have been so busy visiting all of my friends and family!

Prayer Request
If you could keep Becky, Coralyn and Amelia in your prayers. Making a long story short, Becky and Amelia are in the hospital. Amelia has RSV and is fighting off pneumonia. She is on oxygen and an IV. They have been there already for a few days and will be there until at least Sunday. Coralyn is staying with friends and family. Pray for her also as she is not able to see Amelia or mommy. Thanks!
Update
So we are really bad on updating our blog lately. Life just really gets in the way. Look for pictures soon of our little boy growing so fast!
Some updates on Hayden:
1)He has had an awful allergy, cold, congestion stuff that just will not go away. We went to the doctor and they said they couldn't do anything for him. He did get an antibiotic though because he had an ear infection in one ear.
2)He is scootin!! Not crawling yet but he can scoot backwards and can turn himself around on the floor.
3) He has TWO teeth! THEY ARE SHARP!! We think he is starting to teethe again because he is chewing on everything all over again.
4) He has started food at lunch time. He was just eating breakfast and dinner but now he is having real food at lunch. Well real baby food instead of just a bottle.
5) he is a cutie! Well that's not really an update. He has always been cute. We have just really been blessed with a great son. We love hearing his laughter and seeing his smiles!!

Yes I stole it!
I read this list on a friend's blog (Thanks Dacia!!) and I died laughing through it all. I had read these before I became a mom and I thought they were funny but now they mean so much more!! Okay confession time for mommys, how many of these do you confess to doing??
1. Cleaning by yourself is no longer a chore. It’s a vacation!!!
2. You hide in the bathroom to be alone.
3. Your kid throws up… & you CATCH IT!
4. When someone else’s kid pukes at a party… you keep eating!
5. You wipe other kids' noses.
6. You clap when someone goes potty.
7. You have caught spit-up in your hand.
8. You leave for a date with your husband carrying a diaper bag instead of your purse.
9. You have shared a fifteen-minute conversation about your baby with a complete stranger at the grocery store.
10. You silently curse people if they call during nap time.
11. You forgot your mother-in-law's first name because you now only refer to her as "Grandma."
12. You can recite Goodnight Moon and Green Eggs and Ham by heart.
13. You are just as surprised when you sleep through the night as when your child does.
14. You consider it a major triumph if you shower by noon.
15. You pick up the phone and call your mother when your baby rolls over for the first time.
16. You have dressed your baby in whatever is on top of the clean laundry pile.
17. You cry at Johnson & Johnson commercials.
18. You know you're a mom when you gently sway back and forth, back and forth—then suddenly realize your child is not even in the room.
19. you've ever crawled under a crib at 2 a.m. searching for a pacifier like your life depended on it.
20. you've ever stuck a pacifier in your mouth just to clean it off!
21. you never call a pacifier "a pacifier."
22. you start looking at diaper bags the same as you did those awesome leather purses currently hanging in your closet.
23. You accidentally leave the bathroom door open when you have company.
24. baby wipes are more valuable than money at any given time of day in any given location.
25. everything you ever need is on the floor of your car.
26. your “me time” usually consists of daddy watching the baby for 30 minutes while you clean up the kitchen.
27. You can tell your baby’s pooping from 20 feet away.
28. Your “purse” has more snacks and toys than lipstick and cash.
29. A quiet house alerts you that something is wrong.
30. After you finally get your child to sleep at night, you miss her!
31. You reach into your purse for your wallet and pull out a sippy cup!
32. One small word uttered from the mouth of your child causes the world to stop: "mommy"
33. All of your sentence contain double words..."do you have a boo boo?", "wave bye bye", "kiss daddy night night"....
34. The baby on your hip is not a hindrance to any task.
35. You smell your baby's bottom without thinking twice.

The Power Team!
Oh, that's right! The Power Team is coming to our church March 4th - 8th. They will be doing nightly services where they break bricks and boards and then share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are really pumped about them coming. They will also be going into the schools during the day to promote good decision making, the power of words, and to break stuff. If you are out Pittsburg way or just want to make the drive out for one of the nights, it will be well worth it!Our church website has all the info as well as some funny promotional videos that we have put together to get people excited about what God is going to do!
Pictures of life
Here are some random pictures from the last month or two. Hayden is growing like crazy! He loves to smile and laugh. He is such a joy in our lives!
Sitting up all by myself watching TV and playing with toys.
I can hold my own sippy cup and bottle sometimes. I keep it close so no one else will get it.

Chillin' with my buddy Tyler. Thanks for the cool outfits Mrs. Yvonne!
Lately I have had some ear infections. This is me being a good boy taking my medicine!

Poo-Poo
Hayden is getting so big. He laughs and smiles all the time. One word he thinks is hilarious is "poo-poo". Now we have tried saying other words in funny voices like "cheeseburger" and "choo-choo train", but he only cracks up at poo-poo. Enjoy the video.
